Alliance Connection is proud to have kicked off the Summer of Music series at the Karisma Hotels & Resorts-owned and -operated Margaritaville in Cap Cana where we helped spearhead efforts to find international talent for the event. In attendance at the very first event in Cap Cana was the renowned travel trade publication, Travel Weekly who got to experience the powerful blend of music and influence with some of the talent that Alliance Connection secured.
Travel Weekly caught up with Alliance Connection’s executive director, Madison Salyer who said the TikTok factor was a big part of these artists’ overall appeal. “We’ve seen a change in the past few years as influencers have evolved to become content creators rather than just social influencers,” said Salyer. “We’ve seen them become really good at creating entertainment videos, and with TikTok, we’re also seeing so many big artists find their start there. So we thought bringing in [artists like Anderson and Nightly] would be a perfect match, for both social exposure and programming.”
The Summer of Music launch comes as many higher-end all-inclusives look to subvert guest expectations with enhanced entertainment, something travel advisors say is a welcome addition.
